In EGL2430, we will discuss a variety of science fiction literature, primarily in print, including short stories and novels, looking at space travel, time travel, alien encounters, robot stories, and more. We will discuss the purpose and function of this literature. We will also consider, to a degree, fantasy literature (and science fiction as a form of fantasy) and the mythology behind some of the science fiction. I will consider Honors Contracts!
