Description
Students prepare various types of technical business, government, and scientific communications, including résumés, progress, examination, and recommen­dation reports, proposals, and memoranda. It is a continuation and extension of the rhetorical principles and composition skills addressed in EGL1010. We will focus on developing clear, concise, and accurate style for communicating complex information, with emphasis on audience, purpose, and presentation choices. 

 

Prerequisite
EGL1010 or equivalent, with a C or higher

 

Location

The course meets in Marlboro 3091.

 

The class dates are:

           Friday and Saturday, January 28 and 29

           Friday and Saturday, February 4 and 5

           Friday and Saturday, February 18 and 19

 

The times are:

          Fridays, 6:00 - 10:30 p.m.

          Saturdays, 8:30 - 5:30 p.m.

 

OFFICE Hours

Fridays, during Weekender course dates, 4:55-5:55 p.m., and by appointment, in M-3052.
