Tool Description

roster manager
The Roster Manager tool in Blackboard is used by faculty to enroll non-student users into their Blackboard course.

As an instructor of a Blackboard course site, you can copy course materials from one Bb course site to another using the Course Copy tool located in the Control Panel. Note: You must have instructor access to both courses in order to copy materials between the courses.
merge enrollment request
The "Merge Course Enrollment Request" is sent to eLearning to inform the Blackboard Administrator to merge course enrollments into a single Blackboard course for faculty teaching multiple sections of the same course. This allows the faculty to only maintain one Blackboard course site rather than maintaining multiple sites.

Blogs, Journals and Wikis can be used for self-reflection, collaboration and communication.

SafeAssign is a plagiarism prevention service offered by Blackboard.  This service helps educators prevent plagiarism by detecting unoriginal content in student papers.  In addition to acting as a plagiarism deterrent, it also has features designed to aid in educating students about plagiarism and the importance of proper attribution of any borrowed content.

Bb Collaborate

Blackboard Collaborate provides a web conferencing environment that exists as both a Blackboard-integrated tool (inside of Blackboard) and in a Session Administration System (SAS) environment (outside of Blackboard). The same functionality exists in both the Blackboard-integrated Collaborate sessions and SAS sessions.
