Home PRISM II

PRISM II was  funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation, Division of Undergraduate Education.
 

The attendees spent four days learning about:

• Biopsychology
• Biological Basis of Behavior
• Multiculturalism
• Use of Technology in Teaching
• Research Design
• Impact of Technology on Learning
• Software for Psychology
• Professional Opportunities
• Critical Thinking Skills
• Active Learning Strategies

Faculty participated in work-shops on the college campus and at the University of Maryland College Park. After the completion of the Institute, small faculty groups continued working together at a distance on  modules for use in teaching general psychology.   These modules are being presented here.
