The Honors Academy is designed for academically outstanding
students who are interested in a rigorous program of academic excellence, intellectual
development, leadership and community service.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ACADEMY MEMBERSHIP?
Dual Admission

Honors Academy students may choose dual admission with American University,
Catholic University, Howard University, Goucher College,

or universities. An Honors Academy scholar also has the option of applying for transfer to
any college or university that is not part of the dual admission agreement.
