Angie Dopkowski Anderson holds the rank of Professor and has been with the Radiography Program since 1994. She is the director of the Radiography Program, Acting Chair of the Allied Health Department, and teaches both didactic and clinical education courses. Ms. Anderson received a Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, and a Master's Degree in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University in Washington DC. She has over 15 years of professional experience, including clinical experience at Children's National Medical Center and The George Washington University Hospital. In addition to certification in Radiography, Ms. Anderson holds advanced level certification in Computed Tomography and Quality Management through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. She is an active member of the Virginia Society of Radiologic Technologists, and has held the offices of President, Vice Chair, and Chair of the Board of Directors. She co-chaired the 1999 VSRT Fall Seminar and serves on several committees. On the national level, Ms. Anderson belongs to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, and has served three terms in the ASRT House of Delegates. She is a member of the Alpha Eta Society, and is a graduate of the 2001 Coalition for Allied Health Leadership, and the 2004 ASRT Leadership Academy for Educators.
